Thrashers win a game 5-2 for the second consecutive day. Yesterday it was vs Vancouver, today vs Tampa Bay. Atlanta outshoots TB 35-16 and was led by Jason Williams who scored 2 goals. The Thrashers take the division lead over Washington by 1 point and still have 2 games in hand. Atlanta plays its 3rd game in 3 nights tomorrow vs those aforementioned Capitals.

This team's engine is that 1st line and when it's going we have a great chance of winning. Tonight Nash earns 1st star as he pots 1g and 2a against a Wild team we haven't beaten this year.

Good to see the boys get the win.

We got beat pretty solidly by the Ducks. I suppose we shouldn't really be able to compete when I look at the rosters, but we held our own. We didn't do well in the dot though...some of our guys were just horrible there!

Would love to know what Kari Lehtonen said to the ref to earn a major penalty for unsportsman like conduct with just under 4 minutes left in the game. Once again, a less than impressive game from us, but we do get the win. We've had a powder puff schedule of late and we've been able to rack up 5 straight wins. Tommorrow we get Nashville than on day 137 we play the Wild for the final time this season.
