Corey Haim dead of apparent overdose
Article
Not unexpected, but still kinda sad. He was a kid my age from my neighbourhood in Toronto, so I always hoped he'd get straightened out. RIP.

This was really only a matter of time.

I'm either too old or too young, but I don't know who this is.
Still sad though. I just lost a friend over the weekend to drug overdose.

Haim was briefly engaged to one of my childhood crushes - Nicole Eggert. I believe he also dated Alyssa Milano, he was living my early teen dreams!

The guy was popping up to 85 pills a day and they're calling it an "accidental" overdose? Yeah, right.

Dumb post.
You're saying he meant to OD?

It wasn't a dumb post anyway. He was overdosing with that many pills. Overdosing and overdosing leading to death are different things.

From the article and video, it sounds like he has been in rehab many times, has a movie coming out soon and was looking to do well.
Doesn't sound like a suicide to me.

Having things to do in life doesn't mean you don't suffer from depression.
With the amount of times he's been in rehab, it could be accidental overdose.
X-Entertainment.com used to have some funny articles on the two coreys IIRC. This kid used to look like he had it all in the 80s.

So by that logic, he's been trying to kill himself for years? Not surprising, totally self-inflicted, but it is a bit of a stretch to say that a drug addict who dies of a (gasp!) drug overdose was anything more than accidental.

You take drugs, you assume the risk of dying. This is not accidental.

Very sad news, I was a fan of his back in the day. He did have talent as an actor. I'm suprised he lived this long though, with the amount of pills he's taken over the years. R.I.P.
