Couple solid comedies are "No Entry" and "Welcome". You will laugh hard.

Those are my favorites! Do you guys know about this new actor Neil Nitin Mukesh? You've got to see his movies. He is a fairly new comer, and hasn't really made any romantic movies, mostly action. Some of them are:

Johnny Gaddar
Aa Dekhen Zara
Jail
New York

I enjoyed all of them.

Wake up Sid for me was a pretty good movie and also had a good message in it as well.

As far as songs go, right now I'm listening to songs from Karthik Calling Karthik. They are pretty decent and also from My name is Khan.

And to answer Playfair's Hairgel question, Yes I am Punjabi.

This song is based upon the history of film culture in India. Since their introduction, Indian films have relied heavily on song-and-dance numbers attributable to Broadwaymusicals. Almost always, the singing was performed by background singers while the actors and actresses lip-sync. Asha Bhosle is one of these playback singers who has sung over 12,000 songs. Playback singers Lata Mangeshkar (Bhosle's sister) and Mohammad Rafi (one of the top male playback singers of the mid-century) are also mentioned in the song.

I don't watch Tamil movies, but when I see their dance , they have pretty fast moves compared to Bollywood dancing. If I tried to dance like that, I will probably break my spine. But yeah, I have watched the video three times since it was posted here.

Hey thank you so much for sharing. I was following the lyrics while listening to this song. Lata Mangeshkar is trully a legend in Indian Cinema. I still enjoy black and white movies and old songs. Kishore Kumar is another great singer along with Mohammad Rafi.

People can argue here with me, but I believe that Indian movies made today don't quite measure up to the older ones. Is it grace that is missing?

No way while there are a few movies in the past which are absolute classics but movies these days have very good screenplays and adaptations. I don't think movies like My name is Khan, 3 Idiots, Wake up Sid get made in the 70's or 80's. There's a night and day difference from what the movies used to be back in the day to what they are today.

I think it's Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. It was a funny movie! I absolutely love that song "Tera Hone Laga Hoon".

I see what you mean.

I was thinking more about the acting. Then again, different time periods, different expectations. I just love the feel that black and white movies give you, it's inexplicable. Have to be honest, not a big fan of bell-bottomed pants on men back in the days. Have you seen Dosti? The old one? A great classic.

Wake Up Sid was a great movie, I like Konkona Sen, she is a talented actress. My Name is Khan out already ??
