This game is so awesome, unfortunately I keep getting put into games with n00bs and my team is effing garbage and we can't even make it past the first area (out of 5).
just played MW2 for first time in a while... and just remembered how stupid people are at playing the game.... everyone on my team stood around in the same spot, not even trying to get the domination points... i got all of the points for my team.. it was annoying, they werent even good at camping.

360, then you can play with me and my friend, we actually know what to do.
Oh, and I am god at sniping, sniped the pilot out twice in 1 game. The second time I killed his passenger, then he came back around and I killed the pilot.

PC, you'll have a choice of servers, won't be thrown into matchmaking. You can aim with an accurate mouse instead of a sloppy analog stick. You can change the FOV, hook up 3 monitors if you have an ATI card with Eyefinity and do this:
And yes, that 3 times what you would normally see so basically you get natural peripheral vision as well.
does that work with just 2 monitors? (get half of peripheral)
Yes, but it will be bit awkward as you'll get a line in the middle right where you are trying to aim if your monitors mismatch and if you have thick bezels (new ultra thin to invisible bezel monitors are coming out). It works for racing and flying games but for a shooter, it will make aiming difficult.

lol at the amount of people who suck at this game. It is so aggravating playing for almost 3 hours, yet never playing with anyone who actually has a clue of what to do. Quite mind boggling how many people suck.
If anyone has this game for 360, add x JPeeper x, me and my friend desperately want to find people who can play.
I downloaded and played a bit last night by logging into a friend's steam account while they were sleeping.
The 7900 GT videocard that I have thanks to a generous CP member (8800GT died on me, the RMA returned card was also defective) could only muster 1440x900 resolution and lower graphics.
I will check out this game again when I can afford a better card.
I picked up a Sapphire (Radeon) 5770 a couple weeks ago. It was a Tom's Hardware pick, and has been absolutely fantastic. Have run a number of games (including BC2) on the absolute highest settings without any hiccups. Sprung for the Vapor-X version (about $15 more) and have zero heat issues. DX-11 support is nice for now, but more importantly, a must have for future proofing.
Run the setup and it'll force the install of the correct/updated client.
I did that last night and it fixed the issue. I'm finding it impossible to login to US servers so all my stats are probably going to be lost once they fix the issues. All the servers I can join are in UK, Germany, and Russia.

I love this game.
They may tone that down, one of the previous BF games (I wanna say BF Vietnam but it may have been BF2) when the game first came out it was TOO easy to snipe guys out of choppers, so they changed it to make it harder.
Still doesn't doesn't match me shooting down Japanese Zeros with the main guns of my destroyer in Battlefield 1942.. I don't think anything will ever be that fun
