It's a "Verified Account", which apparently means that Twitter has confirmed it is him.
I like his Bio: "I had a show. Then I had a different show. Now I have a Twitter account."

Wow did Leno suck last night. I don't know if that is just the Conan fan in me talking, but it was a terrible show.

Leno is a hack, anyone who pays attention knows that. The thing is the people who watch Leno aren't paying attention. They not only aren't paying attention, they don't want to, and that's why the like a hack like Leno. Sure, he's a nice guy. Who cares? He's a hack comedian.

Leno used to be a good comedian. Then he became a talk show host.

Just watching the show looks like it was made in 198-. It is terrible.

I hate him and I still tuned in to see the suckage. But we'll see how it goes after this first week.

the set looks like crap too. Not a traditional tonight show set, it's just Leno's old TS set after it was redressed as the JLS set which was designed to look smaller and more casual...It just looks flat and really claustrophobic compared to his old set and even Conan's set since he does his monologue in front of a big wall instead of the open area in front of his desk.
It's full of stupid props and fake furniture and strange ball shaped cactus plants or crappy pottery. It looks like the fake stuff at a bad Ikea.
Now he's got a crappy desk to go along with it as well.

I also had a good laugh at seeing a good number of empty seats when they panned the audience as Shaun White came out.

I mentioned it before, but that entrance where the audience comes to shake his hand is really, really bad. Did he always do that when he hosted the Tonight Show, or was that a new thing for his prime time slot?

He's being doing it for years. It looks cheesy and contrived and makes him look like an ego maniac. Watching his loyal minions rise and rush to the stage to welcome their king of mediocre comedy makes me cringe.

His show is fair game.
We're not talking about his personal life. His show is lame, and Conan is off the air for a few months at least.

When I think of late night TV, I think Letterman and Leno. That is my age showing, but that's who I think of. Although Fergusen can be good on occasion.
Conan is obviously the better comedian, but is he the better host for that STYLE of show... I'm not sure. And apparently NBC execs agree with me. When I turn on Leno I want brainless entertainment. That's what late-night should be, at least IMO. If I want to have to use my brain to understand it, yes it is funnier comedy, but at that time of day I have two choices: silly TV or sleep. I don't want "smart" comedy when I'm tired and ready for bed.
Whether it's right or wrong is never a consideration when it comes to money!
