Mike Vick said today that if he could go to one team, it'd be the Carolina Panthers. That'd be kinda cool to see him back in the NFC South, though it'd mean I'd have to hate him again.

He publicly said that? isnt he under contract with Philly still therefore making that statement breaking the rules of a contract?

he said it....I heard the clip on ESPN. His reasoning was he liked the uniforms and it would be cool to play the Falcons twice every year.

And get this...it was on some Atlanta station called "The gangsta".

Vick seems to be one of those guys who needs structure. If he is playing football in a highly structured environment, he is fine. When he doesn't have a framework to guide him, he is lost and says and does stupid things.

Is Dungy still mentoring him?

So the NFL is going with a new logo system and new trophies for the conference championship games. The images are large so I won't post them on here.

What do you guys think? I personally don't dislike any of them and am okay or fond of all of them. Many though seem to dislike them however.

The AFC/NFC championship logos and trophies are horrible.

The logos look like the letter A and N put on some sort of missle launcher, or artsy sculpture. Also, not sure how the wordmarks would look on a field, with that silver.

The mini trophies look weak too...reminds me of the Stampede where you can trade two small plush toys for the big stuffed animal.

I like everything except the AFC Conference Logo.

I assume the other logo was an AFL hold over?

This is the AFL logo (with the 50th anniversary included for this past season).

I would be pretty surprised if Carolina would take him on. I think they really tried to purge their team of bad image players after Rae Caruth (sp?) murdered his girlfriend.

Not that it's new news but the salary cap will be eliminated starting this Friday and we will have an uncapped season.

You mean to tell me that the Redskins are racing to overpay for a big-name free agent? Madness!

Delhomme released by CAR.

Bad year last year but guessing a bunch of teams would be interested still.

Colts close to re-signing Gary Brackett.

Vikings are pushing hard to sign former Colt Marlin Jackson who Indy did not tender.

Peter King tweeted tonight that Lovie Smith has gone to visit Peppers. Jim Schwartz showed by Kyle Vanden Bosch's house tonight and Adam Schefter says Kampman to Seattle.

Dansby, Pennington lean to Dolphins, Lovie travels to woo Peppers, Schwartz travels to woo KVB, Schefter says Kampman looks like a Seahawk.

I have 3 NFL jerseys.

Tomlinson
Kearse(signed)
Cromartie

It looks like none of those players are going to be back with their teams next year.

Yeah I just saw that. Looks like Chicago is now the frontrunner.

Lions sign WR Burleson to a 5 year/$25 M contract:

http://www.tsn.ca/nfl/story/?id=312524

Burleson was on Seattle the past 4 years after being drafted by Minnesota and playing with them for 3. He was born in Calgary.
