LF: Kings "Burger King" Jersey, Penguins 90's jersey Size L
Looking to complete my collection of the ugliest jerseys worn in the NHL. These are the last 2 on my list. not looking to really spend too much on them especially not the $650 that's listed on eBay.
If anyone can help complete the collection that would be appreciated!

I have 2 penguins jerseys. One of the black ones that they won the 91 Cup in. And the other of the mid 90s with Pittsburgh sewn on diagonally....
Good Luck on the Burger King one though. They always go high on eBay, best chance for that is to check it often and hope someone lists one at a Low buy it now price, once they are available for bidding, they go sky high

I honestly think that Kings jersey was the nicest one they ever wore, call me insane...
(Thats the one with the "playing card" King on the jersey right?)

I had a chance about 10 years ago to pick up the "King Friday/Burger King" LA Kings jersey, crested with Gretzky for about $100 off ebay, and balked. Now I'm in the same boat.
I found this site which explains why they're so expensive now ( http://thirdstringgoalie.blogspot.co...9_archive.html). It' says it's because the jersey was not available in stores, but I'm sure I saw it back when there was a Premier Sports, I believe it was called, in North Hill Mall. I remember he had the Anaheim, Vancouver and Boston, and could have sworn he had the LA.
Good luck. If you find 2 for cheap, let me know.

p.s. speaking of ugly jerseys, whoever coined the phrase "mooterus" is a genius

I might be able to track down a Burger King jersey. How much are you willing to spend on it? Do you care what player name is on it, if any?

Player name doesnt matter, as long as it was a player and not a personalized jersey.
i'd probably go as high as $200 for it. what kind of condition?

I know two guys with hundreds and hundreds of jerseys. They're all in very good condition, very well protected and taken care of. I'd be shocked if there wasn't a burger king jersey in the bunch. They collect a lot of game worn jerseys and it sounds like you want an authentic non-game worn so I'll email both of them.
Edit: Heard from one of the guys, he has a team signed jersey, which probably isn't what you want. He won't part with it anyway.
Edit again: I just found this thread on a Kings message board regarding these jerseys. It looks like there are several people willing to at least look at an offer for them. I want to make it clear that I don't know any of these people as I don't frequent that message board, so I can't vouch for any of them. It seems like the best opportunity to get the jersey you're looking for.
