Canuck fans are pretty split about him now. I think a lot of them are very pissed that he would "dare" speak ill of their "captain." I have to agree with them. If Canada and Finland had played, you would never hear Iggy say these things about Kipper.

Kesler is a competitor.....I'm not a fan of his comments, but I LOVE that he hates to lose, even as part of an underdog team with low expectations going in.

I missed it when the IOC guy put the medal around Keslers neck, did he snap his head back, grab at his face and fall bonelessly to the ice?

LOL i think you've been watching a little too much Pierre McGuire. "Kessler is a competitor". Anyone playing any sport is a "competitor".

So he's a competitor, yet you don't like his comments, yet you love how he hates to lose. I think even Joe Thornton hates to lose.

I think this post can be filed under 'preposterous'

It was better than that. The look of disgust and sadness on the brink of tears. Couldn't have asked for a better moment to soak in as a Flames fan.

I've now heard Parise, Kane, Kesler and Ron Wilson all say that they believed they played well enough to win.

With Kesler saying that they "dominated" overtime... (by my count they got one shot) he just sounds like a delusional whiner. I'm glad he lost and I'm glad he cried.

Certainly they played a good game, but I thought Canada out-chanced them substantially, with their MVP keeping it close.

Yeah I don't know what Kesler is smoking by thinking that. His comments about hating Team Canada didn't bother me but I read that he was talking trash after he scored the tip in goal on Luongo and then to say what he said in the 2nd intermission.....Luongo isn't too happy with him. I hope they kiss and make up soon.

I hope otherwise.

Nothing really. He said that Luongo looked to be fighting the puck a bit so they just wanted to keep getting lots of shots to try and tie it up. It's a media manufactured controversy.

I was expecting worse. I think Loungo did enough to win the game, but I thought that he looked fairly uncertain on some of his saves. And he did bobble the puck on the tieing goal so Kesler wasn't wrong.

And here I am hoping that it causes that team to implode.
