I don't think either Flames or Canucks fans can really brag about the role that their players have had for Canada here. Iginla has been physical but hasn't capitalized on chances, while Luongo has made some stops, but looked shaky at times and let it a stoppable (I wouldn't go so far as to call it soft) goal.

Stupid Vancouver. They probably have a hypodermic needle buried at center ice.

Honestly Canuck fans, how can you cheer for this guy? What a waste of skin.

Uh-oh.
A Canucks player said Luongo is fighting it today.
What will Canucks fans do? Will their heads explode? Who do they become defensive about?

That interview he had right there shows what a classless piece of garbage that jerk is. Very rarely do you ever hear a hockey player do an interview with a tone like that. I hope Roberto gets that gold and promptly heads to the American dressing room and shoves it down Kesler's throat.

Why make excuses for a bad goal. If was a soft goal. Period.
He has bobbled a few shots but its all about this 3rd period and a couple more Canada goals.

Couple rules for those new to the board, and not Calgary Flames fans
If A Flame player makes a big play its all skill
If A Canuck player makes a big play its all luck
If A Flame player performs bad. It's an unlucky night
If A Canuck player performs bad, its a huge choke, and a lack of skill
Follow these rules, and you'll be just fine.
Luongo has been terrific. That goal doesn't get deflected at the last moment, it doesn't go in. Those thinking otherwise, seriously need to take off the rose coloured glasses. Shots/chances are about even and weve got a one goal lead. I'll take it.
This third period should be really exciting. Hopefully Canada can up the pressure and take home the gold.

Whats so bad about the interview? We complain about hockey players being so robotic and lifeless. At least we're seeing some competitive swagger and confidence. Need to see some more of that from hockey interviews.

If Crosby turns the knob from "mild" to "beast mode", then this game is over. Come on Crosby, turn it on and win this for Canada.
