He was no doubt upping his game in the few weeks before the olympics started, which made sense because he hadn't played for like 7 months after his injury and it took him like 8-10 games to get back in the swing of things
But he was by far slovakia's best player for the whole tournament, I don't expect that
If he can chip in as a top 6 forward down the stretch I would be happy, dont expect him to keep up this level

It's nice to see how happy the Finns are at getting the bronze. It probably meant more being down 3-1 as well.

I thought Demitra was washed up but he obviously didn't fluke out to lead the tourny in points so far. He still has the skills and yeah if he can show the heart he did in the Olympics even 75% of the time for the Canucks, he will be an asset.

What are you talking about, Demitra had 89 and 93 point seasons, who was the last Flame not named Iginla who's done that???

Read SuperMatts post.
He said Euros like Demitra aren't able to replicate their play from international games into NHL. He specified Demitra, who "replicated his game" into NHL better than any Flames forward not named Iginla in 12 years.

Jokinen said after the game that it was his last game with the national team. He intends to concentrate on his NHL career and feels it's time for a younger generation to take over.
He has two olympic medals, five world championships medals, silver from the world cup, and a gold from world juniors. Being the player of the game was a nice way to end his career with Team Finland.
