I reserve judgment on Demitra until hes back in the NHL not playing with Hossa and Gaborik
I will give him credit for a great Olympic tournament.

I'm pretty happy for him. I hope Slovakia hangs on for Bronze.

Me too. They have been my 2nd favorite team all tournament and I would be happy for them if they can hang on.

Back and playing with the Sedins? Two players that are much better than Gaborik and Hossa?

The Sedins aren't "much better" than Gaborik and Hossa, and Demitra doesn't play with them.

Not really surprising that Finland followed a good first period with an awful second. They've been up and down all tournament.
That PP - nightmares from Keenan's Flames.

Staying healthy is a big IF though.

Demitra gets a lot of undeserved flak. He's injury prone and not the most consistent guy, but he still is a pretty damned good player. He can play all 3 forward positions, is an excellent 2 way player, can be good on both the PK and PP, and is usually good for .75+ points per game.

I'm so glad Jokinen plays for the Rangers now.

Finland coach is pretty stupid. He doesn't give Selanne PP time.

So he's really effective when he's not injured (which is often) and not in a funk (which isn't uncommon)?

5-on-3 for 90 seconds with no Chara. They have no excuse not to score here.

The only constant from the anemic power play the Flames have had for the past couple years, and the Finnish power play is...Kiprusoff!
So it wasn't Preston or Keenan but that bum Kipper, come to think of it he has played the most PP time out of any Flame and has yet to score a goal!
