Canada has now become the Host Country that has won more Winter Golds in Olympic history. The record was 10 in Norway 1994.
If they win 1 more they will have won more than any winter country has in a single Olympics.

Gold medals left...
Men's Curling (CAN or NOR)
Men's Hockey (CAN or USA)
Men's 50km Cross Country

I have to say I never expected Canada to win the overall medal count, but I never expected them to win the gold count either. It's a very nice accomplishment. Way to go, country.

We get our 13th with Mens Curling, and now have solidified our place in history by tieing Russia and Norway with most all time Golds in a Winter Olympics.

Congrats to all our athletes today. 3 Gold is unreal! 13 Gold medals which ties the most Gold medals in an Olympic games and the most ever by a host nation. Hopefully we can add 1 more tomorrow.

It all up to the hockey team to put a close to the olympics with breaking the record.
Gotta say, Canada did pretty well after the slow start. Actually incredible they've just rolled through these past few days. Top 3 finish in medal count and most golds making them number one in official standings. Go Canada!

If they lose, I'll blame it on not having a paralympian.
I know it doesn't make sense, but I will anyways.

Amazing!!!
Olympics were a success, despite some early setbacks. Can't believe they are done.
I loved that clip they showed of all the different Canadian crowds reacting to the goal! Fantastic! I love the show of patriotism and national pride!

And in typical Canadian fashion, we place ourselves third place in the standings, whereas the rest of the world, outside of the USA and for some unfathomable reason us, place Canada in first place.
WE WON with 14 gold medals ladies and gentlemen, despite what CTV and TSN say.
