Yeah, after his second run his time was pretty safe. The course is definitely slower for the second go and he has the fastest run thus far.

Yes.
Anderson looks in real good position to qualify after race 1. Lambert is at a slight disadvantage and Morison is doubtful to advance.

Morison doesn't get past the first round. Had he not fallen in the first race, he would have gotten through easy...

Anderson just looks dominant out there today.
With the way he's riding and that upset of the Swiss rider in the quarters Anderson is definitely the favorite for gold.

Bobsleigh heats haven't been on TV, but Canada1 is almost guaranteed a medal after their third heat.
They are in 2nd place, 0.45 behind the US leaders, but the Germans are 3rd .54 behind. Canada1 gained .05 seconds on the Germans that heat.
4th place is a distant 1.01 behind.

Morison fell. His second race and everything else in the first was quite good.
Lambert did look bad though.

Haha, try telling our women's skeleton team that a good placing going into the final heat guarantees a medal...

I doubt the Canadian team that wasn't even expected to medal is going to go into the final heat with the 'gold or bust' mindset Hollingsworth did. She was expected to win gold and decided that putting in a safe run and taking silver wasn't good enough.
