I have never been to Miss so I cant really say anything but 94% of the vote and 31 years is pretty damn good.

As for Rick, he has every politician in this country wrapped around his finger. He can cuss them out an MP one minute, then call them up and get them to play a role in some random music video the next.

I lived in Mississauga for a couple of years in the mid-80's and remember her being super popular as a mayor then and she was already on her second term. That is some amazing longevity for a politician, but Missisaugua has been well managed for years.

Look after your people, keep taxes down and make sure there are jobs.
What a crazy, insane idea. What the heck is she thinking doing that for 31 years and creating one of the few debt free cities in Canada?
700 million in the bank DURING the time of a recession. Incredible.
Even better? She admits that they are struggling to provide a public transit system. An honest politician.
