You're a dink. And another reason added to the list of why to take transit instead of drive, not everyone can afford to pay for parking everyday.

I've actually been home, but I had to venture out into the world to hand in my assignment and write a midterm. My TA wouldn't accept it over email and my prof didn't see a cold as a valid excuse.

If blowing the nose means I don't have to sit there and listen to your dumb little sniffs every 10 seconds, then do it.

Used to bug me growing up, but its amazing how once people hit college they don't care about letting er rip in front of classmates anymore. I'm just so used to it all around me in classes that I kinda stopped caring, I'll admit I do it sometimes too. Though I'll never go full out unless I'm by myself, I'll just do little half-blows if anyone's around. Just enough that you're not drippin & sniffin, you don't have to absolutely clean house in public.

I found I'm actually the opposite. I didn't care up to until maybe grade 11. And then I really didn't like blowing my nose in public in university. Yesterday I was blowing my nose at the stairs because there wasn't a close enough washroom.

I consider it very disgusting; on par with idiots who haven't learnt to sneeze/cough into their elbow instead of their hands.

On Ice: Anything goes (although keep the picking to a minimum).
Off Ice: Ya, go somewhere at least semi-private. Nobody needs/wants to see that.

Hey everyone, this person is feeling miserable - let's add to their misery!

Special rules for sick people, no question.
You know what's worse than people blowing their nose in front of you? People that can't seem to get it right.
I have a guy at work (one of those that likes to talk and talk and talk), and he is constantly honkin' the schnoze while yammering on about random stuff I couldn't care less about. It's a real treat when they miss the tissue and end up on the desk/chair/carpet/his shirt. I don't even think this would be acceptable if I worked at a daycare.....

Then she comes back, with the same gloves on and everything, and tries to go at my sub. It fought every single polite fiber in me but I had to say something because otherwise this sub was going right in the garbage.
I just said, Excuse me.. but did you just blow your nose? Then a more senior member of the staff said, Change your gloves and wash your hands, and apologized to me. I said no need to apologize, I am sure she didn't do it on purpose..
So she washed her hands put on fresh gloves and finished my Sub, with a great amount of attitude.. sorry for not wanting your snot in my sub.
|
Which Subway was this? I had the identical story except the girl dropped her glove on the ground right in front of me and picked it up and went to use it. That sub was dripping with attitude and pizza sauce.

Uh... Yeah, green/deep yellow snot usually means infection. Next time that happens, talk to your doc. If they deem it an infection, you'll get antibiotics and it clears up withing 2-5 days. And thanks for letting me use your train. Much appreciated.

Everytime I've ended up with a sinus infection antibiotics has cleared it up within 3 days. Although I don't have white people antibiotics. I take eastern antibiotics.

Blow your nose as required. Please be as subtle about it. I won't watch. I don't want to see any part of the process. Thanks.
Especially the lady who blew her nose while deciding which coffee to pour herself at the little cafeteria that is close to work. Blow right over top of the muffins and other assorted breakfast items.
