So pumped for this game! I was more fearful of playing Sweden but can't ignore the facts that Slovakia beat both Russia and Sweden. Halak has stolen games for Montreal before and he will need to play at his best to give the Slovaks an opportunity to win this game. Chara will play a lot of minutes but with Canada's depth they will be able to exploit some of the weaker d-man.
I predict a 6-2 score.

Not only Halak but Slovakia have good defense.
Chara, Visnosky, Meszaros, Sekera, even Urchina.
Much better than the deer in headlights Russian defense.
