If she wouldn't have fumbled that jump, she would have had silver.
Go amazing.

I gotta say that despite all the haters, these Olympic games are going to be very memorable.

Bronze for Rochette. Should go down as one of the most determined performances by an Olympian ever.
A bad time to be chopping those damn onions.

Nagasu is 16, she doesn't have enough elements to match the top girls even though her program was perfect. She was THRILLED to get the score she got.
Came for experience and got 4th! She'll be one to look for in the future.

I've never watched an Olympics so closely and it's going to suck when they are done in 3 days

Most inspiring medal of the Olympic Games! So proud of Joannie. I am sure she will head home tonight to be with her family.
Your mom is smiling at you Joannie. You made her proud! Bravo.

That bronze will feel like gold, and will be worth more intrinsically.

Most games tend to start out like that. Negative Nellies looking for anything to complain about, and by the end it eventually just keeps building momentum into something very positive and memorable. I've enjoyed watching them all.

Wow, Yu-na's English (atleast her pronunciation) is pretty good. But she has been training in Toronto since '06.

Just neato gang! haha, no but these olympics have been so exciting to watch, I think it's because of the immense national pride that every Canadian feels right now, man I love this country.

The problem is that Canada was expected to have this kind of late push. People just expect medals without actually doing any research into where we actually are expected to. Obviously there was disappointments, but that happens to every country, every Olympics
The other big thing with the Olympics is that in a lot of sports world rankings don`t mean a lot whole in the end. Look at short track speed skating 500m - Charles Hamelin is 1st in the world, F.L. Tremblay is 2nd. But in 4 races this year, they`ve combined for 3 golds, 0 silver, and 0 bronze. Tremblay has 1 podium finish (albeit a gold), but is 2nd in the world. Yet tomorrow if he finishes 4th or 5th there`s going to be the usual outcry of choke this, choke that. Lots of these sports are the same way - even when you`re top 3 in the world you`re still making the podium only a third of the time.
