CountryVillage: Tomorrow, pre-order still available.
14th Ave NW : Game delayed. End of week or next week.

EB has really screwed me around too. They told me It would be in this morning, wasn't. Then they said noon, it wasn't. then 5:00, still nothing. Then I called them at 7:30 and they said maybe tomorrow.
The guy also said that they were shipping them all to one store, and that the store managers had to go pick them up.
And yes, I know I am impatient.

I'm sorry if I'm flaunting here at all because I already got my copy, but I just installed it, immediately started creating my dynasty, and when you click Continue they give you a pop-up that says "New for NHL06, substitute and import your created team into your dynasty" which leads me only to say......YES!!!! Woohoo! Finally. In the past you've only been able to use created/custom teams in Season mode, but this is really good news to me. Already I'm super happy about this.

I was at the northhill eb today and overheard the clerks saying that all the nhl 2006 games go to one eb store(market mall i think). And then they get an employee to drive around and deliver them to the rest of the stores. Apparantly this saves money on shipping.

Oh mine was with Southcentre. They have always been good before, but they have been really sketchy in this case.

@Otto-Mattic: So far so good. The puck physics are real nice, it flows like a real NHL game, however, like my experience with the demo, on "Difficult" mode, I find the game to be extremely hard.
In my dynasty I lost my first game to Pit 3-1, and then my next game to Philly 7-4. The problem I seem to be having is that I feel like a one man show out there. That is, on defense I am lining my guy up to play the body, and when he tries to make a pass to his CPU teammate, I have to count on my CPU defenseman to break up the pass or play the body on the receiving player. Of course they are slacking, and the other team usually does get the pass through, and often times leads to a goal.
@cheung: Maybe you didn't know, but I don't live in Calgary, in fact, I don't even live in Canada. The GameStop I went to was in my local mall.

Slightly off-topic question: are both of these games going to be available to the Xbox 360?
