I think the hatred is mutual. We may be allies, but when it comes to sport, we've got a nice healthy rivalry.

From this team Kesler, Backes, Jack Johnson, Kane and Kessel.

Historically guys like Roenick, Chelios, Tkachuk.

And a ton from their junior teams over the years.

There are plenty of ######bags on each side of the border, that invisible little line doesn't stop people from acting like idiots. Don't let a few of them ruin the reputation of an entire nation.

Is there any reasoning for such hatred, other than they said they hated Canada in interviews before the games? Or have they actually committed acts of ######ry?

And I can understand somewhat the dislike of Cheli and Tkachuk, but they had a long way to go to live up to the d-bag acts of Claude Lemieux.

Yeah, but what you're failing to realize is that the games were viewed differently because THEY WERE different. Canada played really well against the Americans and ran into an amazing goaltending performance by Ryan Miller.

Where as, Canada dominated Russia, and while Nabokov let in a couple of softies, Canada still would have destroyed them, or at the very least, won convincingly.
