Would've liked to have seen Luongo have at least one of those. They were all extremely tough saves to make, but that can be the difference between winning and losing. However, like everyone else on the the team, I'm sure he's let up just that little bit since they went up 6-1. If it was a closer game I'm quite sure the defensive coverage would have been better and Luongo probably a little sharper. It's only natural to let off the gas a little when up by that much. Hopefully Canada can keep at it in the 3rd, because Russia's still not totally out of it yet.

Watching this game on CNBC, and all they can't go 2 minutes without mentioning the 1980 USA team (I refuse to call their win anything that starts with "m").

Canada just has to come out and hit for 10 minutes maybe even 5 minutes of sustained physical preassure and the Russians will cave. Canada has to pound pound pound until they tap out

Canada just has to keep it up.

Russia will push back, obviously....but Canada just has to keep up playing like they have.

One or two more goals early in the third from Canada would really deflate the momentum Russia has (killing off the Russian PP will help).

Really don't feel safe at all given the momentum shift mid way through the second.

Would really love to see Canada's top line net a goal or two, Iggy's bustin ***, Stall is great along the boards as usual and Crosby can feed a pass anywhere. Make it so!

We all knew Canada would play a physical tough game vs Russia but Canada has out skilled Russia.
