I dont trust that the Germans or the Czechs are clean. A track record getting smashed so easily like that? I want them tested.

The Czech who won is one of the best skaters in the world. This is her second gold medal at the game. Same with the German. She has won multiple medals at these games. Both are the real deal.

Keep in mind that there probably haven't been a lot of events held in the Richmond Oval so the track record is really just based on one or two events. If the ice was faster today for whatever reason then it's not that shocking for the record to drop a couple of times. If they were in Calgary where the record has been established over a large number of races then it would be far more unusual.
