5-0 Canada. They get some confidence and Luongo plays a nice, comfortable game making a couple good saves. I think this team needs solid goaltending and I think Luongo will provide just that. With him in net, and our top lines clicking it doesn't matter who we play we will win!!!
Staal, Crosby with goals, Iggy with 2 assists. Don't care who gets the other goals for us! 5-0 win, book it!

For all the talk about the forwards (okay Thornton has really sucked) I am most bothered by the play of the defense in the previous 2 games.
Way too much running around and poor positional play by this defense. I see a lot of folks ragging on Pronger, but Boyle just stunk in the last 2 games. For whatever reason he was seeing a lot of icetime and he is just not deserving. Nieds is in my bottom 3 as well.

Any Flames fan who Luuuuuuu's is not a Flames fan in my mind.
I don't care that he's representing Canada, Luuuuuing is one of the worst things a person can do IMO.

Germany is a very frustrating team to play against. On paper this is a blow out but we have seen countless times that "on paper" means absolutely nothing. The Germans have nothing to lose and zero pressure compared to Canada, who will have the entire country and hockey world critiquing their every move. I don't expect a blow out like many are predicting as there is so much parity between the countries for these Olympics but Canada will win this game. Canada has the skill but they haven't played with the heart as seen by these lower seeded teams. The heart needs to be there to be successful.

Apologies if this has been asked, but is there a CTV stream that includes commentary? It seems to just be live feeds with background noise, not commentating.

Winning olympic hockey gold at home would be one of the greatest hockey moments ever. Anyone not supporting Luongo and Team Canada is not a true Canadian in my mind.
