Argos expected to announce Monday that they've released Kerry Joseph and Cody Pickett. Who do they go with now? They only have one QB on the roster in Stephen Reaves. I'm thinking they will pick up someone from BC.

Argos have also released Zeke Moreno. I'd like to have Moreno in a Stamps uniform.

I was gonna say the same thing. I think Tim Johnson is a very similar player to Moreno so I wouldn't be too upset if we didn't get him.

I like Malik Jackson and Timmay Johnson and Shannon James. Need to see if Tristan Black can crack the starting roster. Blackmon was suppose to come back as well but I wasn't impressed by him.

He wanted to take a run at the NFL, I believe he got a try out with Dallas. There were also rumors of trouble between him and Burke Dales and others in the locker room.
I don't think any amount of money could have bought him back to Calgary.

Argos will just use a wildcat formation all year long. They don't need a QB.

What kind of reception does Sandro get when he comes back to play in Calgary?
The guy did a lot for this team, but I can't help but feel a lot of people are glad he's gone.

On the Fan960 Sandro just said that Calgary's offer was more than Hamilton's - he did it for family reasons.
Best of luck to Sandro, thanks for the memories.

Yea just to be clear, Sandro DID NOT leave calgary for the $$$. Calgary made a better offer then Hamilton.
Heres a recap what he said on the FAN:
- Calgary made a better offer
- NFL tryout was short and sweet. Worked out for Atlanta and Dallas.
- NFL contracts are all about the signing bonus, when you see all these CFL guys going down to the NFL, they do not make any money until they play games.
- NFL cares about size when it comes to kicker, they feel a longer leg has higher potential - You can teach accuracy but you cant teach distance (which Sandro disagreed with)
- Hamilton was a logical choice - he has 2 nephews (9 and 8 years old I think it was) who he doesnt even know who live in the Hamilton area.
- Family was a major reason why he signed with Hamilton
- He only signed with them because he saw good potential in the team, he wouldnt sign with any CFL team unless he saw potential of winning.
Thats all I remember from the top of my head.

^Honestly that sounds like a bunch of bunk to me. 90% of the time it is about money, even when they say it isn't...and you certainly don't leave the Stamps for Hamilton because of "potential of winning".

You do if there are locker room issues and he didn't want to be part of the Stamps anymore
