Debatable. But I just have a hunch that Luongo should be in net, he seems like he is in the groove right now.

I was totally wrong. I thought that if Canada relys on the magicians from San Jose hey would finish 4th. Looks more like 8th.

oh by the way, there is still lots of room on the Finland bandwagon.

The worst part is that the puck actually hit Brodeur's stick before it went between his legs too. If he actually has his stick flat on the ice (and isn't even in the proper butter save selection) he stops the puck.

Oh man, that was a bad goal. Brodeur shouldn't have even been in the net by then, he should have been pulled much earlier.

I don't think that Finland has looked all that impressive and considering their opposition hard to really tell anyways.

If they put out a good effort tonight against Sweden then that could change.

I know people want to get all worked up about how "physical" the Germans are but they can't score worth a damn and won't be a concern at all.

The Americans just showed that they are a much weaker team than us and Russia has had its issues.

Sure it won't be easy but when you have the depth and talent of this Canadian team I am not all that worried about guys having to play 15 minutes a game for four games in a short period of time.

Horst: [threatingly] We Germans aren't all smiles und sunshine.
Burns: [recoils in mock horror]
Oooh, the Germans are mad at me. I'm so scared! Oooh, the Germans!
[hiding behind Smithers] Uh oh, the Germans are going to get me!
Horst: Stop it!
Man 2: Stop, sir.
Burns: Don't let the Germans come after me.
Oh no, the Germans are coming after me.
Man 2: Please stop the `pretending you are scared' game, please.
Horst: Stop it! Stop it!
Burns: [brief pause, then resumes]
No! They're so big and strong!
Man 2: Stop it.
Horst: Stop it, Mr. Burns.
Man 2: Please stop pretending you are scared of us, please, now.
Burns: Oh, protect me from the Germans! The Germans...
Horst: Burns, STOP IT!

As others have mentioned, is there anyway Babcock can be removed from the bench? I highly doubt it will happen, but I really think if he remains we have no chance.

Just to clarify, we can still win gold, right? We just can't lose one more game?
Germany-Russia-?-?
Is that right? Or would it be only 3 more games, considering we make it.

What depth? what talent? Perry, Richards, Morrow? Leave that depth at home. Coach can't even figure it out.

Finland is deep. And they don't give up any goals.

Canada can't score any goals, and give up alot of them.

That's correct. 4 games in 6 nights.

Watch as the line of Nash-Richards-Perry gets the most ice time.

Just say no to Canucks goalies and Brodeur. Oh, and to Jumbo Joe Thornton, too. Why he was ever selected with his penchant for crumbling in big games, I'll never know.
You know, I agree, Fleury is definitely the type of goalie that could steal games and he is young & competitive enough to risk pulling a groin for his country...

Who wrote this? A 12 year old, or a gimped monkey?

Jesus.

Note: Luongo > Fleury in so many ways.
