And thanks for all the ideas. I've got a list going. I don't think I can do any of the drinks until Christmas when he comes back up for the holidays. But the chips sound good.

They are delicious!
I have bought them at a candy store in the Crossroads Market here in town.

Briefly, during the 2004 playoffs, 7-11 was carrying them.

Six bucks for ice cream?! That's insane. I don't understand why food is so much pricier in Canada. I notice on commercials on Center Ice during Canadian games, the same things (I think from Taco Bell) that are 49 cents down here are 1.19 up there.

These types of threads are so interesting to me. I could go the rest of my life never going to Carls Jr or Jack in the Box and have no regrets. The only fast food restaurant I can't live without is El Pollo Loco. I'm pretty surprised the fast food places down here haven't tried to tap the Canadian market. Maybe they don't want to compete with Canadian fast food restaurants.

Oh yeah, Funyuns are awesome. I don't eat them that often because of the huge calorie hit, but once in a while, they're the perfect snack. Munchos are delicious as well, but hard to find.

Munchos are easy to find up here. Pretty much every grocery store has them.

My favourite American food is Johnny Rockets' Smoke House Single / Double. I'd be 300lbs if Johnny Rockets existed in Canada lol

How are those different from regular chips?

As long as they're just flavoured though. Squid jerky and such are so not good.

Munchos are not chips. They've got a different texture than chips with them being lighter than chips but still crispy. Just get some next time you're at the grocery store to try. They are really good.

Munchos are potato "crisps" and I'm not sure they're made from thin potato slices. I suspect they might be created from dehydrated potatoes (similar to instant mashed potatoes) so they can be formed really thin. When they're cooked they get really airy and crispy and the texture is different from regular potato chips.

Apparently, before he discovered cookies, the Cookie Monster enjoyed Munchos:

I was down there in the fall and picked up 4 bags. I still have one left (Christmas flavors were killer)

I'd also like to add in:
Chewy Sweet Tart minis

Have you ever had them transplant?? I love pork rinds... Although I eat the ones from turkey creek and are BBQ flavored... good snack for diabetics like me ... NO carbs or sugar but a lot of sodium!
