And this whole "sex addiction" thing...........I can't believe people buy this. There is no such thing as sex addiction. This is how most men are wired to behave, given the situation. I would bang hundreds of chicks if I was a famous, rich athlete as well.
I am against the idea of making men feel bad/guilty for enjoying the company of women.....

Yeah, we're just jealous. Tiger Woods is a total playa, too bad about that whole marriage vow thingy.
And honestly, believe the sex addiction thing, its a real problem and leads people to the total destruction of their lives if not treated.

Lately all these celebrities have been seeking "sex addiction" counselling after facing criticism from the media/public about their extra curricular activities.
I don't think David Duchovny or Tiger Woods have a "sex addiction". I think they are using it as a crutch so it looks like they don't have control over their "bad" behavior. I think a real sex addiction is quite rare....
Like I said, if I had the option to bang different chicks every day I would. I don't think that makes me or any other red blooded man a "sex addict".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_addiction
The existence of the condition is not universally accepted by sexologists and its etiology, nature, and validity have been debated.
Skeptics believe that it is a myth that the phenomenon exists as a disease or disorder at all and is instead a by-product of cultural and other influences.
The American Psychiatric Association publishes and periodically updates the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), a widely recognized compendium of acknowledged mental disorders and their diagnostic criteria. The most recent version of that manual, DSM-IV-TR, was published in 2000 and does not recognize sexual addiction as a diagnosis.[7] Although some authors had expressed that excluding sexual addiction from the DSM represents a problem,[8], the proposed diagnosis was rejected for consideration for inclusion in the DSM5.[9] Darrel Regier, vice-chair of the DSM-5 task force, said that "[A]lthough 'hypersexuality' is a proposed new addition...[the phenomenon] was not at the point where we were ready to call it an addiction."

He should be angry at the hypocrisy of society.
Men and women cheat on there spouses.
Tiger is an "Alpha Male" because of his wealth and status.
Therefore, he gets access to whatever females he wants.
Elin would not have married, procreated or even talked to Tiger if he was just a regular guy with a regular job making minimum wage.
Tiger, has nothing to apologize for.

I don't condone his behavior but there are worst things a person can do. The only reason this is news is because it is a sex scandal with a professional athlete. You and no one else in this thread actually gives a rats about his family but are pretending to do so and act like Tiger has done something worse than murder by cheating on his wife.
Sad part is someone like Michael Vick can kill a bunch of innocent animals and it gets 6 pages where Tiger cheats on his wife and here we are 68 pages later. That's the sad world we live in.

Part of that is Ron Mexico's behavior was almost expected, we know what he was. Tiger Woods had passed himself off as the All American family man, sitting in pictures smiling with his wife and kids, using his nice guy image with his sponsers. Then it turns out that he's a serial cheater. Of course its going to get play, we were mislead by Tiger Woods, he hid behind his image to make money and lots of it, too bad that he turned out to be a complete sleazebag.
I think I would repect him more if he had just come out promoting Tiger brand condoms, but of course thats probably a lie to, from what we've heard, he likes to go commando with his ho's.

You honestly believe he made his money because of his image?
Tiger could have been the biggest d-ck for the past decade and he would still have every penny of that. He gets paid to play and win golf tournaments, not to be an all-American. If that's the case Tim Tebow should be a multi-billionaire in the next few years.

Sponsors paid him millions based on his decent family guy image. They were mis-led, and are dropping him as fast as they can.

Ya I could see that. What did it take the first sponsor more than two weeks to drop him? Lightning fast!

Of course image counds. Sponsers stay clear of jerks
That's why besides a Nintendo game, I don't recall any companies wanting Mike Tyson when he was the best heavyweight.
Even look at Barry Bonds. You rarely see him pitching any products

Mike Tyson was sponsored by Adidas and that may have more to do with his sport than him. I can't think of any prime sponsorships for De Le Hoya, can't think of one ad he has been in outside of boxing.
Has Bonds won anything besides what he got cheating within his sport? Would you say Bonds is the Tiger Woods of baseball?

If he wasn't a prominent public figure, sure. But as a public figure the good comes with the bad. The good being the sponsorships, endorsements, support for his charity and people tuning in to watch him golf, the bad obviously being this. There isn't a switch saying what the public should and shouldn't care about when it comes to celebrities, they get it all. Should people care? I don't know. I personally don't really care. Should people care what shaving cream he uses? I don't know. I know I don't. But lots of people must if they are running the ads. It's a two way street.
