Mobile version of CP?
Is there a mobile version of CP? Awhile back, I was surfing CP with my iPhone and it switched automatically to a text-only version which I liked. But I haven't been able to replicate it since then and I can't find the text-only version of CP. Anyone else experienced this before?

Man would I love that. Basically, if I had an easy way to disable avatars and signatures while on my blackberry, but show them on my PCs, that would be awesome.

http://www.tapatalk.com/ might be a good option. The admins would have to add CP to their service though. It's usable on iPhone, android, nokia and blackberry.

Yeah I've been looking at that.
There's a new version of the forum software out so I'm waiting until we transition before we add something like that, and I'm just waiting for the bugs to be worked out with the new software and the add-ons that we use before upgrading.

Can't wait though, with my BB Storm, can't seem to compose posts on CP through the BB browser anymore for some reason.

I would certainly love an iPhone App for this forum.

I don't think anyone makes applications for that device. In fact I've never heard of it.

Yeah there's lots of changes, I have to make a new theme for the forum too so it's not a quick and easy upgrade unfortunately.

I would jizz in my pants for a mobile version of CP.
RedFlagDeals.com has a pretty stream lined and great on BB or iPhone mobile site - maybe a good example to go by?

There are a couple app makers on here. Maybe they could put something together?

Why reinvent the wheel, we'll just put that tapatalk server side application on and people can purchase that and use that.
And have a mobile theme installed so that can be selected as well.
They've released a few updates to the new version of the forum software, and the mods we use have been updated, so I'm more inclined to upgrade now. I've installed the new version and am running it in a test environment, the big task is making a new theme for it since the theme structure changed completely; basically have to do it from scratch, which will take a few days of work at least.

Any news on a mobile version? It's pretty slow and awkward to read CP on my BB, a mobile version a la m.redflagdeals.com would be awesome!

Usually the server side is free for those kinds of software, I want to install one of those but I've been wanting to wait until I upgrade the forum software, but maybe I'll install one of those software anyway, as long as they support both this version and the new version of the forum software.

Any update on this? Another forum I visit recently installed the Tapatalk plugin, and the app was like 2 or 3$ on the App Store. Works pretty good.
