Former Senators draft pick who played a couple seasons in the WHL. He looked like a poor man's Martin Havlat in the Senators rookie camps he played in.

3 PPs and yet they've missed 2 easy ones as well. the Swiss better stop taking penalties or they're going to be on the PK all game long.

They certainly are getting suckered into a pond-hockey style of a game.

Iggy continues to look fantastic, 3 unreal setup plays in the first that nearly found the back of the net each time.
Iggy to Crosby, roll reversal from last game perhaps?

These tournaments are cathartic. So amazing to see this type of talent pay together on the same team. This is some of the best quality of hockey you will ever see.

Man, that period flew by. Gotta watch the defensive turnovers over the next 40 minutes, and keep getting the forecheck going. Was better late in the period, keep it going and wear the Swiss D down a bit.

Except that 12 finished.
Therefore, Iginla > Crosby.

An alright period.
The defense looks kinda shaky.
Hopefully Seabrook and Keith man up and get their head into the game.

Draft Pick

A few too many moves on certain plays, but otherwise a solid period. I liked how Canada adapted to the playing style of the Swiss. Probably only a matter of time before they start putting some in the net.

Crosby keeps looking to score the goal everyone will talk about instead of making simple plays.
Getzlaf is being a little too fancy for my liking.
Heatley is threat every shift.
Iginla is having 2 men on him the whole first period. Obviously the Swiss coach saw what happened against Norway.

One thing im noticing on the PP tonight is the defense is doing an absolute anemic job of holding the blueline (espicially Pronger). Frustrating to see Iggy, Nash and Crosby get the raw end on the PP because these guys can't hold the zone. WAKE UP PRONGER!

I can't believe how much holding and interference is happening. In the NHL the Swiss wouldn't have a player left on the bench!
