All the good skaters are up. Wotherspoon in 5th with 6 pairings left. Two Canadians still to come (Parrott and Morrison).

The women really can't win with anyone, can they? They get ragged on for winning and massively outscoring their opponents. They score goals, they get ragged on for the way they celebrate. And if they were to lose, they'd probably get ragged on for being Canadians and not winning at 'Canada's sport.'
I don't blame them for being excited about scoring, I don't blame them for being excited about winning at the Olympics. I don't blame them for being excited about the one time where they get any kind of recognition for what they do on a national/global scale.

If there is one constant in the pattern of where I see society heading, it's that people love to complain and belittle everything, and I do mean everything. Even good things.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to take away from their right to feel good about being in the Olympics... I'm just saying that acting like they just won the Gold after scoring the 18th goal in an 18-0 game against a team that can't even skate is a bit much.

Don't look now, but you're currently doing the same thing you just posted about.
Here's a little secret... I know it's hard to believe, but sometimes a "complaint" isn't really a complaint at all. Sometimes it's just an observation.
Pretty neat, hey?
