They were lucky the Japanese skip was shooting 50%. At that rate, I'm surprised the game was that close.

The Japanese skip was awful too. The seconds and thirds carried that match for both teams.

Yeah, somewhere in the OT forum from a few years back, there was a skiing thread when Canadians were all over the podium in WC events, the hope was they weren't peaking too early.

Still a bunch of races to go, but unfortunatley, it appears that was the case.
