I'd like to see Iginla at least get a chance on the PP.

I am enjoying it but that isn't going to prevent me from expressing my opinions on what I see from the team on a public forum thus far. If you don't like it, tough break.

oh well 2 periods left....that was a fast paced period. the guys just need to shoot more instead of being unselfish and they will get some rebounds and win with ease.

I wonder if Iginla cracks 10 minutes of ice time tonight.

They are dominating. The 0-0 score doesn't tell the whole story.
|
They are supposed to dominate. That they are passing up good shots to try and make cute plays is an issue though. Stop trying to impress the home fans, just shoot. The fans will cheer a goal no matter how pretty or ugly it is.

Because he couldn't even stick with a Swe-1 team.

I do have to wonder why they feel it's a good idea to give one of the only couple 50 goal scorers on this team minimal ice-time. Maybe it's just the Calgary Flames fan in me talking...

great period, bigger thing to notice is the lack of chances Norway had
The Americans may have won 3-1 but they gave up like 12 odd man rushes
Canada dominated and the goals will come

Funny how Iginla isn't getting much icetime.
I don't really give a crap if these guys just got together yesterday. They play in the best league in the world and should be running up the score instead of looking like a bunch of midget players out there.
I said years ago that the team who will win this tournament will be the team who is willing to actually play hockey. And not this allstar game dipsy-doodling crap we're seeing.
This is Norway people. NORWAY. Not Russia. Not the US.

Iginla isn't playing special teams and he is on the 4th line. Ice time is hard to come by. It'll all change as the tournament goes on.
The Canadians will be fine, lots of nerves playing in front of the home crowd but fortunately they are playing Norway so there is some time to settle in. This game shouldn't be close by the end of it.

Where is the Canadian physical game? It looks like pond hockey. The Canadians are getting pushed around after the whistle by Norway with nothing doen back. They need to put some fear into these Norwegians and let them know what Canadian hockey is all about!!

Because Crosby and Bergeron looked really good 5 years ago against team Latvia!

Still floored that Iggy is buried on the fourth line and seems all but forgotten about.
Some line choices on this team really have me scratching my head.
Oh well, Iggy's just gonna have to dominate with less minutes than usual

They're still trying out line combos so I wouldn't put too much stalk into how much time Iggy plays because come the USA game, he'll be taking Bergeron's spot.
