Can't they just fit the run somewhere else if need be?
Seems ridiculous that they would cut an athletes chance in half for an event like this.

Funny how the Canadians were forced by IOC to go in the fog and wiped out and then they delay came from the IOC and remained until the fog would lift long enough for the Americans.

I'm really, really trying to get into these games because I love the Olympics, Winter & Summer, for many reasons. But I'm having a hard time not saying "I wish these games weren't in Canada (Vancouver) with the way things are going so far." at least once a day because of something stupid going on.

February is vancouvers second coldest month of the year, I believe the olympics are always held in February as well. This year had been a complete annomily weather wise, especially for the mountains. In fact it's the warmest winter ever recorded in Vancouver. No one wad predicting this. Especially since last year It was minus 5 and we had 2 feet of snow.
