No Onions were needed this time, that was possibly the greatest moment on Canadian television.

That interview is the epitome of what the Olympics are all about, family and achievement bringing us all together.

Is there anything greater than the Olympics?

Only when we win Gold. Then my life is complete.

Dutchie bringing out the champagne was great.

Great story. Before the finals one of the stations played a great feature on the relationship between him and his brother. Was rooting for him even harder after that.

A great Canadian moment!

Man alive, that was probably the proudest I've ever been as a Canadian. That whole bit with Bilodeau's family was just so moving. Props to Dutchie for bringing in the bottle of champagne, props to Alexandre for such a great run, to Frederic, to all of them!

i love the olympics for moments like this - the backstories have been really great to see how our athletes got to this point...

watching it with millions of other Canadian...well, that's an incredible thought.

Go Canada!

Nice to see them partying down on Robson (and not rioting). Awesome ad-hoc celebration

The sweetest moment in Canadian Olympic History...and its even more sweeter with the fact that he beat that traitor Begg-Smith

For whatever reason I haven't really gotten into the olympics yet like I have in the past. I don't know if it was because the Hockey hasn't started, or the coverage has seemed a bit weird considering we are used to cbc,

but after the Gold medal win and that interview with the family, I am right back into it.

All we need now is an epic rant from Yzerman after some swiss punk spears Seabrook and doesn't get penalized.

i for one am pumped that the alpine downhill events being pushed back gave Lindsey Vonn time to recover so she can compete
