I had only seen snippets of moguls before these games... they're pretty damn cool.

Should have been Gold And Bronze - Bagg Smith's run didn't deserve to be scored above the next two Canadians, IMO.

Congrats to Bilodeau!

Congrats to Bilodeau!
Dunno, really hard to compare Baggs run, pretty much everyone else went big air and super fast, whereas Bagg kept it more under control with smaller jumps but was far and away the smoothest getting down the course.

I don't know enough about the sport to really comment. I was just glad one of our guys beat that epic ######.

I loved the interview with CTV after the win with Bilodeau. You could tell he was emotional about the gold, but he kept it together. He only started tearing up when they asked about his brother. Then, his voice started quivering and his eyes were welling up. I have to admit, when they showed his brother cheering him on after it was announced he won, I got a lump in my throat. What a fantastic moment!

I am so happy he won gold!!! He seems like a great young guy, with a great attitude!

Freakin' great. The video of his run is superb.... what a great moment for this kid and for Canada. Imagine being the first Canadian ever to win gold on home soil, which will go down in the history books. Wow. What an accomplishment, and at 23 years old. So impressed right now.

It's awesome that a Canadian ended up beating him. I watched a segment on him this morning and he seems like a very arrogant ass who bitterly refuses to acknowledge his Canadian heritage. As much as I didnt like the fact that Canadian ice dancer chose to compete for the US back in 06 atleast when she won she said the Gold was for both Canada and the US.

I think I read somewhere in this thread that it's tomorrow, and Heil's ceremony is tonight, but I could be wrong!

You are correct. Should be at 8Pm MST tomorrow. It's Quebec night at BC Place too.

What a wonderful family. I have not cried like this since that hunter shot Bambi's mother.
