Tough break. I was hoping for the last girl to fall or something.

Do the skiers get to choose the song they come down to? If so a subtle slap in the face to Canada picking canadian DJ Deadmau5's Ghost N Stuff

They were saying that if we don't win anything in the first few days don't worry, our strengths come in the latter half of the games.....

I don't know but between short track and freestyle I think we have had some good chances early on.

I agree, Shannon Bahrke (third place) definately seemed to be celebrating more than the other two, even before the final results were tallied. Which I mean is fine, but with her over celebrating, I can't help but feel bad for Jenn Heil. That being said, im excited to see that we got a medal on day one. Hopefully tomorrow brings better results.

I think the Americans have been nothing but classy. One of them hugged Kristi after her run.

it's indicative of the collective lack of dignity in americans, as a Canadian of English and Scandinavian descent I find it very distasteful

Every skier was getting hugs from the people in the top 3 after their runs.

That being said, I don't think we can fault somebody for being excited for winning a medal at the Olympics.
