Too bad we can't get good roaming rates on data. Just back from a business trip overseas, and could only take London's Hearhrow using wifi. Would have loved to own the pyramids and sphinx in Cairo. Oh well, did take over the airports in Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.

Now to focus on jolinar. That guy rubs ne the wrong way.

I have been playing Parallel Kingdoms, and one of the cool things about that is both Android and iPhone users play in the same world. That is the first game I've run across that does that. It has some similarities to OTW, but I think I'd prefer the more military strategy game style of OTW to the RPG swords and arrows Parallel Kingdom stuff.

Just give it time KTrain. This game is great and I have a feeling you will make a lot of money on it. I think you will see an exponential increase. I have got a few friends to buy it all ready.

Just wanted to drop by and congratulate Jolinar on taking over the World leader rank.

As much as I had it in with you, that's impressive. You're up 1165 - 3 on me lol.

BTW - absolutely weird glitch I've noticed, I'm sure there's nothing the makers can do about it. (Has to be a Google Maps GPS thing), if you take this thing on the subway/LRT, the GPS goes nuts and puts you in random areas. Nothing to worry about, you might gain 1 troop in West Edmonton, then 1 in downtown, another in Leduc.

For sure, the word of mouth will make you a millionaire. I have no doubt about it. I've been in areas where people were all "WTF are you doing?"

A buddy of mine (kazabet) played it going to Montana using an older 2g phone with poor gps. It jumped him around so much trying to locate him that he owns several random fields in the middle of nowhere that would be impossible to steal.

I took vancouvers airport and some areas in northern bc. I mocked vancouverited via Twitter but didn't notice anybody retaliate. Wusses.

A couple updates for those who have not hit our forum. New update version 1.3 contains the following:
-Auto login function. Just go to settings tab, turn on auto login and bypass the login screen everytime you fire it up or a phone call disrupts your conquering.
-*Should* be playable on iPods. We know it can as that is how I play the beta version but now the app store should actually let people install the release version on one.
-Follow me feature. Now when you drive off screen it will recenter the map on you. If you move the map with your fingers it turns this feature off (so it does not jump when you are looking around). To turn on again after moving the map with your fingers hit the home button and it will follow you again.
-Other misc bug fixes and memory management improvement.

After that we are looking at 1.4 which would include in game contact list and messaging (building blocks for alliances). 1.5 will include alliances. Initially alliances would imply that you could not attack people in your alliance and there will be a separate leader board for alliances.

Last but not least if you are enjoying the game don't forget to throw down a rating or even a review in iTunes for us!
