I know Quiksilver isn't really a huge "jean" brand, but some of the best jeans I have ever bought and used are the reese forbes coolmax jeans. They can be used as somewhat dressy and they can also be used for pretty much any sporting activity. They have the adidas coolmax built in to the fabric so they're great for any sort of sport.

Yes those threads were good, but in those ones I was talking about expensive jeans, now I am trying to learn how to shop for cheaper jeans!
I realize how this makes me sound, I can't figure out how to word it differently. I read Comics guys I am not smug, comeon.

I recently started buying my jeans at Superstore! Honestly some of the best jeans I've owned in my life, comfortable, durable, and fit perfect all for around $35 a pair. I've to the come conclusion that paying premium prices for clothing is a unbelievable waste of money.

My personal favorite jeans are Lucky Brand. They are so soft and comfortable and well worth the money paid.

x2. I laughed at my wife when she suggested this, but considering I am often outside in a pretty rugged work environment where clothes get beat up pretty bad, I decided to try a pair. Better to trash a pair of $30 jeans than a pair of $100 jeans. To my surprise, they held up pretty well. I have a few pairs of them now and they've been great. They look pretty decent, fit well, and are surprisingly durable. These aren't "work" jeans like Carhartts or anything - just the regular "joe" brand ones. I have one pair that the inside of the pockets tore open after about a year, but other than that no issues. For 30 bucks you can't beat them.

That Joe line is actually pretty decent, I have a zip up from there I bought for $15 on sale and I absolutely love it.
Also their plain white t-shirts are thick and make great under shirts, way better than those crappy 5 for 20 buck hanes ones.

crossiron mills mall is the only place, otherwise you're either buying online, we were in hawaii a couple years back when i found a lucky store, although edmonton and vancouver have stores too.

I ran out of thanks but again thanks guys.
I also am a denim addict, I love buying nice jeans I don't care what anyone says! But after spending 300+ on multiple pairs of jeans I have talked myself down. Now I just try to buy on sale.. you can still get really nice jeans, they might be last seasons but if its half price..
I see a lot of Buffalo mentioned in here, I am wearing a pair of David Buffalo right now as my main work jeans. I bought them for $150 at a local store here 3 1/2 years ago.
The damn things are still holding together very well, they look near brand new, a little fade and what not but it just matches the actual fade of the jean. The only place is some fraying down at the bottom, but I might just get them hemmed a half a inch and all that cut off and they can go for another two years.
They weren't supposed to be my work jean, but it just worked out that way since they are so comfortable. All of the other ones sitting in a desk for 8 hours of the day my guys start to get a little cramped. But since they are starting to get worn and the other jeans are not comfortable enough.. this is what prompted my search.
I think I might have to grab a cheap pair of AE's, another pair of buffalo's and some Levi's on the weekend. See what I like best for the fit and just rotate them in and out. I wonder where I could pick up a nice pair of Levi's or Buffalo's in town.. I have a few ideas.. any name brand chains you could think of that are in Saskatoon? I won't be back in Calgary until April for playoffs
|
The only jeans I wear are Buffalo and I've never had any problem with them tearing. Unfortunatly the length tends to be a little longer and if you don't get them properly hemmed then they tend to fray at the bottoms very easily.
I've looked at Lucky Brand but have never tried them, might have to explore that option here pretty quick.
On a side not Jesus people how many pairs of Jeans do some of you people have!?

I only have 1 pair.
I've been wearing my lucky brand pair of jeans for 2 years now. Before that, it was some ridiculous $250 chip and pepper pair of jeans for 3 years.
I just have a hard time finding a pair that fits me comfortably, that when I do find one, I just keep wearing it until it wears out.

I managed to find rock and republics at Pusch for $119. Very comfy. Or try guess jeans. $100 at the outlet mall gets you very nice jeans

I've never heard of most of these brands. Is it uncool to wear bluenotes jeans?
