Pretty ######ed move I must admit and I've never come even close since, but damn were those jeans comfortable. I wore them more or less every day for a good year, so in the end they did their job well.

If you want a nice jean for the 100 dollar range, i would recommend Guess.

Oh yes, this is also true. Nice, soft denim but pretty delicate. Wow, we are all a bunch of pole-smokers here.

You're probably talking about Brooklyn... in the building across from Molly's? They're expensive (more than I'll pay anyway), but if you were going to spend that much on jeans they really know what their talking about.

Who pays even $100 for a pair of jeans? I just don't understand.

I once bought a pair of jeans at Club Monaco for $130. The damn things ripped everywhere for almost no reason. Worst jeans ever. Never shopping at that store ever again.
Most of my jeans are Guess. They're quality, but not too expensive, and there are lots of different fits. But mostly, it's because there's a Guess store in Westhills, and that's about as far as I'm willing to travel for clothes.

Thumbs down on Guess. I find their jeans have a horrible cut and are priced way too high for what they are. They're like Walmart jeans with Guess prices.
I can usually find designer jeans on sale for the $100 range. Recently bought some Earnest Sewn, J. Lindabergs and John Varvatos all in the $90 - $140 price tag.
With your location, this may not be possible so I would try Buffalo or Levis. Don't write off Levis, they've come out with some good cuts in the last couple of years after just making crap for over a decade. I have a pair of Levi's that were produced to only be sold at Club Monaco and they are pretty nice. Cost about $70.
Aside from brand, if you want to be able to wear them to work, get a dark denim with a fairly clean wash, and not baggy. Minimize the whiskers, fading etc.
That way you can dress them up with a collared shirt/blazer etc. if need to, and dress down off work as well. A light denim with business tops looks bad.

Yeah I bought some Levi's in Tokyo that were made with the classic Japanese denim for around $300. I loved those jeans! However, it was one of those cases where I thought "while in Rome"... just can't justify paying that much normally.

Ya, BR has nice fitting jeans. I'd say of all the different brands I've went with, Abercrombie ones hold up the best....As long as you're not buying the pre-ripped ones.

God I love Calpuck, look at all this info and within a hour of my post.
I ran out of thanks but again thanks guys.
I also am a denim addict, I love buying nice jeans I don't care what anyone says! But after spending 300+ on multiple pairs of jeans I have talked myself down. Now I just try to buy on sale.. you can still get really nice jeans, they might be last seasons but if its half price..
I see a lot of Buffalo mentioned in here, I am wearing a pair of David Buffalo right now as my main work jeans. I bought them for $150 at a local store here 3 1/2 years ago.
The damn things are still holding together very well, they look near brand new, a little fade and what not but it just matches the actual fade of the jean. The only place is some fraying down at the bottom, but I might just get them hemmed a half a inch and all that cut off and they can go for another two years.
They weren't supposed to be my work jean, but it just worked out that way since they are so comfortable. All of the other ones sitting in a desk for 8 hours of the day my guys start to get a little cramped. But since they are starting to get worn and the other jeans are not comfortable enough.. this is what prompted my search.
I think I might have to grab a cheap pair of AE's, another pair of buffalo's and some Levi's on the weekend. See what I like best for the fit and just rotate them in and out. I wonder where I could pick up a nice pair of Levi's or Buffalo's in town.. I have a few ideas.. any name brand chains you could think of that are in Saskatoon? I won't be back in Calgary until April for playoffs

Walmart Seriously, Wrangler makes a stonewashed jean with the inside of the waistband covered by a softer material than denim, great for driving or sitting for long periods, or a turkey dinner Best $28 jeans around!

Just because you posted this.. I am gonna say Honest forum has fallen a long way .. I use Authenticforum.com they authenticate jeans from ebay etc to make sure your not buying fakes. Also they have a mall/classified section. They also post deals from the internet. If you sign up there please use nickerjones as your referral!
