lost phone in mission

i know the odds are slim, but i lost a blackberry curve 8900 yesterday around 24 ave & 4 st sw. if anybody has seen or recovered it, please contact me.

yes. i had it on vibrate yesterday. it's going straight to voicemail though. i'm going on the assumption that somebody found it, but decided to take the phone and put their own sim card in it.

Report it stolen. Any of the major phone companies will black list it and they can't sell/use it

Um, I'm not the one posting a thread that maybe 25 people out of a city of 1 million will read in the hopes they found my phone. My suggestion is way less ridiculous than what you are actually doing. lol

Anyway, if you did see an ad for a curve on kijiji you could buy it, or if it's yours just take it back. I'm sure you have a marking on there or something you would recognize.

i called it in, and rogers turned it off. but that doesn't stop somebody from removing my sim card, adding theres and using my phone....does it?

there is nothing on my phone that sets it apart that couldn't be removed, except for a scratch on one corner.

If you still have the box it will have a serial number on it. Although even with that its unlikely.

No there's a serial that's stuck with the phone I believe. That's the one they blacklist. When you buy a phone from ebay, you call your phone provider to ensure it's not black listed and if it's not, then you can use it. If it is, they won't.
