Default Outlook deletes old calendar appointments

I've just discovered that all of my Outlook calendar appointments seem to be deleted (probably automatically after a period of time). Does anyone know how I can change it so that Outlook appointments are never deleted except by me?

I don't think that it does. Check your auto-archive setting for the calendar. To find the archived calendar if that is what happened just go to your calendar and check off the box beside "Calendar in Archive folder".

I could be completely wrong and it may all be gone forever.

I do realize you have solved your problem, but for further reference I find the Microsoft tutorials, and more specificly the quick refrence cards associated with each one, to be very effective as far as finding out little quirky things. In fact I pretty much trained myself with Excel and Outlook with them

There is a compressed HTML ebook type thing with all the guide in one easy file that can be located on Microsoft download sites. If you are interested and need the 2003 versions, but can't locate them, send me a PM with your email address and I can mail it to you.

I'm probably old enough to be a parent for the average age of folks on here. Think of me as your dad and maybe you'll be more understanding.
