If it can't be Liverpool, I'll take anybody but the Russians and the Mancs. So go Arsenal, I guess....

^^^LOL. If Liverpool are not going to win the league, which seems unlikely to say the least, I'd like anyone (perhaps not Everton!) to win it over Chelski and Man U. I could never actively support Arsenal. (I still kinda hate them for 1989. I was at Anfield that night when they won 2-0 with the last kick of the match. Nightmare!) Still, I hate them less than those two.
Any clearer for you?

Spurs sign Eidur Gudjohnsen and Younes Kaboul. Harry sure loves his former Porstmouth players. That being said, Kaboul is a good signing.

On the Portsmouth side, hopefully this gives them enough money to pay for hosting their website. What a mess.

In the latest setback to befall the troubled club, it was confirmed on Thursday that Portsmouth had been unable to maintain payments to Juicy, the company responsible for www.portsmouthfc.co.uk.

Too bad there isn't a decent replacement for England captain amongst the current batch of players. Gerrard likes getting into bar fights and forgetting about his injury troubles, Ferdinand doesn't captain his own club. Not sure what Capello will do, but everyone over here thinks Terry should and will be stripped of the armband once Capello returns to the UK.

Sky Sports is reporting that earlier this evening Capello called Wayne Bridge to inform him that Terry had lost his armband. He also asked Bridge to check underneath his bed as Terry believes that is where he may have dropped it.
On a more serious note, there is another England squad member in hot water. Having already been banned from driving for travelling at 104mph in a 50mph zone, Ashley Cole has changed his story. He now claims the reason he was speeding was not because he was being chased by paparazzi but instead his mate had called and informed him that he thought he had seen John Terry's car parked outside the Cole residence.

I would give it to Rooney
worked for France with Platini, worked for Argentina with Maradona
that and Rooney has been outstanding for ManU this year, moved himself in to the discussion with Messi and Ronaldo over who is the best player in the world
would prefer it on Gerrard over JT though, was hoping Gerrard would get it in Capello took over

Newcastle should as long as they don't collapse. Nottingham would have to move into second position to guarantee a promotion.
The top two teams get promoted and the teams finishing third to sixth compete in a knock-out playoff with the winner being the third team to be promoted.
