Default I appear to be a spammer; don't hate me

Well, not me actually. I've been getting these emails returned to me that indicate that they're rejected for invalid address or something else. They're spam messages and they were not sent by me. Reason for concern? Should I do anything?

First Step is:

Download, Install and Run a full scan with MalwareBytes

You might need something more later on, but this can only help.

It's more than likely backscatter - someone or something out there is spoofing email as coming from you (because it found in the the address book of someone else who is infected). When a portion of the spam emails bounce, the bounce notification goes to your email address, even though you didn't send any email in the first place.

I'm finding backscatter complaints are becoming more common these days, its generally annoying but not something to worry overly about.

I've been having the same problem with Hotmail. If you go to options --> more options --> set automated vacation replies

I found it in there, delete the spam message and turn off the reply. If it's hotmail you're having an issue with.

If you have a vacation response set that you didn't set up yourself, your account has been hacked. Highly recommend you change your hotmail password, and any other services that you use the same password for.

Really? That's weak.
Ah, I've used the same password for 8 years. Have to get used to a new one.

I don't understand why they'd hack mine just to send out spam mail. Why not create an account and do it from there instead of screwing me over?
