what's wrong with those students?

Did they survey out east? I drink twice a week, and even then I'm carrying a light load

I bet it all depends on whether you were living with your parents, or whether you went away to college. I would guess that the kids that left home were more likely to drink more often.

I lived with my parents during my undergrad days:

Friday night at the Pit, $1.25 shots (or something to that effect) and $6 pitchers

Saturday night was well... Saturday night

then Wednesdays you would go to Steel City for wings and karaoke

Tuesday night drink specials at Daniels. There was alot of options in Sydney, usually something every night if you wanted there to be (Rum Jungle has a drink special, no cover, every night of the week)

Oh and Casino usually has happy hour prices on beer, I don't know when there isn't happy hour there... when they're closed maybe?

Global National talked to students about this survey and they all scoffed at the findings. Most admitted to drinking at least 1-2 times per week.

More true than you know. I've always found that when smoking marijuana, liquor tends to taste pretty nasty. Thus, if tons of people at University smoke pot, I could see a reduction in the # that drink, especially since both vices probably draw upon the same demographic in University.

I knew TONS of people that smoked weed at U of C, but not nearly as many hard drinkers. Maybe its easier to study/stay in school smoking than drinking?
