If the Colts can hold onto the ball, unlike the Vikings, they will demolish the Saints. It won't even be close. 41-17 is my guess.

Saints return game scares me, can make a big difference especially in a shootout which the game could be.
One thing worth mentioning is how good the Colts ran the ball today, against the leagues best run defense. Scary to think the Colts offense could be even better.

Fast Facts
The Saints advanced to their first Super Bowl and became the first home team to win a conference championship game in overtime.
This is the first time since 1993 that the two No. 1 seeds will face off in the Super Bowl.
Brett Favre threw two interceptions to take over the record for the most INTs by a QB in postseason history with 30. He also set the record for career postseason passing yards and career postseason pass completions.
Garrett Hartley won the game with a 40-yard field goal, joining Rich Karlis, Morten Andersen and Lawrence Tynes as the only kickers to win a conference title game with an OT field goal.
The Vikings had six fumbles, two shy of the single-game postseason record.
Adrian Peterson tied a conference championship record and set a Vikings postseason record with three rushing TDs.

I am a diehard Colts fan but I actually disagree with this. I think we will win but I don't think we will demolish the Saints. They have a potent offense. Colts by 7. With that said, I love your thinking!

I can't believe I'm doing this but....
Did you fail to read the sentence right after the bolded one? You throw alot, it increases the chance for picks. Favre has that gunslinger mentality, so you live by him and you die by him.
You could say vintage Favre about anyone of his stats because the guy's played the game, at such a high level, for so long.

Damn Favre, (Possibly) ends his career in typical Favre fashion. That interception put me at 1-1 for the week.
So the big game is 2 weeks away, I gotta think the Colts look pretty strong this year. I don't see the Saints stopping them.

Give me one reason why the Saints can't win this game...
They are the favorites, no matter what Vegas says.

With that said, I just hope it's a good game. Don't think I'll be cheering for one team over the other at this point.

Are you really rooting for that guy?
Seriously?
Edit, I have the utmost respect for Manning, but come on, Brees in the man...

You just can't fumble the ball that many times and win. You just can't. And the Favre throw? Well you live by Brett, and you die by Brett. And I think the way the Vikings coutinually shot themselves in the foot, leg, ass, arm, chest and back led to the better team losing today.
But it was a truly epic playoff game. Unreal enetertainment value, but very very frustrating as a Vikings fan.
Now if Favre comes back, I think this team will be in the same position they were yesterday, with a chance to play for the right to advance to the Super Bowl. And I think he will come back next year for that reason alone.
I'm going to go lay my head in shame for a bit.

I don't think you should feel any shame for Favre, he was a f'n warrior out there today. I thought the officiating was shameful for both sides, but the Saints finally won a game against the run of play, and full credit to the defense to cause that many turnovers. I think my life was shortened by the stress of today's game, but well worth the YEARS of disappointment to see that kick sail through the uprights.

See above. Not rooting for anyone, but Manning wins games for the Colts on his own.
I've hated him for years, but still respect him for being the best QB in the game right now. Yes better than post-surgery Brady, better than Rivers, Favre, Roethlesberger, etc. And yes, better than Brees, if Brees could keep up this play for a few years, than sure it would be a discussion.

The Colts were in big trouble today. but they were playing an offense that had no idea how to put a team away. The Saints will be a different story all together, either through the air or on the ground. Should be a great game, but the Saints will not be facing a front anywhere near the quality of the Vikings, Saints 31 Colts 28.

Agreed, Manning is the model of consistency, hopefully Brees will be the better QB Super Bowl Sunday. It's not that I don't like Manning, but jeez, he isn't the only clutch guy in the league...

Oh god, the amount of clutch QB's in the league is ever increasing. But you asked for one reason why the Saints wouldn't win the game, and Manning is that reason. He's not a 4-time MVP award winner for nothing.
The Jets tried to take away Wayne and Clarke, which they did, but then Garcon and Collie just blow up. Manning just makes everyone around him better, it's unreal how long he's been able to keep that up. I'm not entirely sure the Saints D can handle that kind of passing attack.
Granted, the Colts won't be able to stop the Saints, so it should be a fun game to watch.

The Saints' road efforts this year havn't been particularily inspired. I think the Colts will win by 10.
