I would be happier if they got rid of sproles and kept LT.
Norv didnt really lose that game so much as his continually going to LT lost them the game.

Apparently McDaniels wanted to replace him with one of his pals from New England. All hail the Denver Patriots!

I dont like that. At least alot of the old cronnies have been hired by the Chiefs I dont mind a young coordinator as long as the Owner/PresGM is willing to have some growing pains.

Eagles sign CFL Rookie of the Year Martel Mallett.

Westbrook has hinted that he's very likely to retire. He's come down with another knee injury.

Kick return was fine until Hobbs got hurt, but I'm guessing that is part of the reason for signing Mallett.

Sorry I can't link it, it was on the radio this morning. Vic Lombardi was talking about the fact that he spoke with Nolan before a game and Nolan did not like McDaniels' policies regarding assistant coaches and the media. Basically, they can't talk to the media, period, except one conference call a week. Nolan said he thought that was dumb.
The paper's here are saying they had "philosophical differences" regarding play calling etc etc. It's hard to get a read on it though. He was picked up by the fins less than 24 hours after parting ways with the Broncos?
My opinion is that Parcells called wanting Nolan, and you answer when Parcells calls. McDaniels didn't care because the old NE DC is available, so they both said "OK, cool, see you later". Makes the most sense to me.

Seahawks have hired John Schneider from Green Bay, as their new, somewhat token, GM position.

Bucky Brooks of nfl.com puts out his first mock draft. The top 10 is pretty much offensive and defensive lineman with an edge rushers for a 3-4 scheme. His first and only QB of the first round is Bradford down at 26. He puts Dez Bryant at 21 to the Bengals as the top WR.
Somehow I don't see it playing out that way.

That's a pretty crappy mock draft.
Who is Bucky Brooks?

as a bronco fan, you can continually watch Hoodie Jr. run players out of that organization, but i guess he is such a genius, he will turn Orton into the next Brady... Broncos are in a lot worse situation than the choking Chargers

Its the Patriot way. You don't talk to the media, you don't let the media or former players watch practice. I don't know if that paranoia comes from the Patriots assuming every one is cheating like they are? Or if they think you can create a culture of winning by isolating your players and coaches from outside negativity?

I didnt know about the media issues with McDaniesl. For a coordinator who wants to be a coach again I can see media interaction to be desirable. I cant see why one of the most shister individuals in football other than Kiffen Jr. would be a reason to want to take a job there.

By shister do you mean ‘football genius’? Lol. Parcells may have a crappy attitude, but he knows what the hell he is doing. That team is going to be a perennial playoff contender within the next 5 years. So will – I cant believe Im saying this – the Browns. A good personnel guy is just invaluable in the NFL.

I don't know if this is FATA but I thought Marvin Harrison was a potential HOF'er. This may cloud such matters...
It's a long read but worth it if you haven't heard any developments of said matter...
I love Wendy's as well... So similar in so many ways...

I hope your feelings of uncertainty for the Browns to succeed are legit in their favor, they really deserve a bone.
Tuna, yeah, how do you not like a guy with that nickname, that resume and the fact that he signs a bunch of CFL'ers.
