I absolutely love domination. It really depends on your teammates. Sometimes I'll have teammates that will protect the flags and won't rush so I'll try to take the flags. Other times they rush and no one protects. I personally like to rush more than camping.

I find deathmatch too much of a gongshow. There's no real objective so everyone's just running around and it's hard to get some kind of coordination.

It's your settings. You can increase the volume of the peanut gallery if you want, but you probably don't want to. lol

With PS3, I find you just hear people clearing their throat and coughing into the mics more than anything else.

I like domination because there is a strategy to camping as there is often something to protect. I also like it because (as wooohooo mentioned) deathmatch can be something of a sh*tshow. Domination filters players into areas to keep the fighting up.

It's easy as hell to take out too, just create a class specifically for shooting down air support. Then when you hear something called in switch your class to it for when you die. After you die shoot the thing down then you're good to go.

Hey Thanks for the tip... the first game I tried this was on airport and shot down 2 choppers ... plus one time i shot the javelin into the air aiming at a chopper and instead it killed 4 people ?? I dunno how but i liked it ...

2 games after this i got a AC130 , i didnt shoot but one person during the AC130 but I shot down a chopper and 2 Harriers... and was lining up my third harrier when the AC130 ended.....

I am partial to the stinger.

It makes you stick out like a sore thumb because it is so long, but like other people have lamented in this thread about aerial assaults, I love being able to take out a harrier or a gun ship with one shot.

It is also nice for those one in a million times that someone calls in an AC-130. If I play it right, I can get two shots off before the ac130 can get into a position to hit me.

For 360 or PS3?
for 360 you can get them at any gaming store for 20$ ish for a wired one
on PS3 they're more expensive but more in the 60-70$ range, and you can get them at pretty much any elctronics store best buy/futureshop/EB games

Sorry should have mentioned ps3. Checked Bestbuy's the cheap one on there seems like it would snap like a twig and the others are $99. The only other one is a single ear piece bluetooth but i'm not sure how much help that would be to determine where enemy footsteps would come from.

You could always try kajiji or however its spelt and get a used one for marginally cheaper

You can spend $60 on SOCOM which comes with a headset included (the official ps3 one).

That's what I did (although it was $50 at the time). Not the greatest game, but it's worth it just to get the headset.

Trying to unlock heartbeat sensor for my Intervention. Found out that you really need to have stopping power perk inorder to kill anyone using a sniper rifle with silencer.

I really hope for the next round of consoles Sony considers:

a) having a headset bundled with the system is a great idea
b) few people will buy headsets if they aren't included
c) bluetooth sucks and it should plug into the controller like the 360

I prefer Sony's console, but man did MS do a good job with the headsets on the 360.

my highest killstreak was tonight i killed 28 in a row .... dont have the nuke as a killstreak =(

Main reason I got 28 is bc I got Emergency airdrop ... it dropped Sentry, Chopper Gunner, and Stealth... I put out the sentry and it did some some work , I prob killed 18ish or so with the chopper gunner. It was on wasteland and the idiots were all hiding in the field by the airplane or helicopter whatever it is. I then dropped a stealth in the same area.... It would have killed all of them but we only needed 1 kill for the win....

For Emergency airdrop, is it one crate of is it 4? Airdropping all 4 would be a giant pain.

Oh wow. That's incredible, I must aim for that next time. Those crates are just awesome. I usually do the care package and most of the time I get soemething useful with only a few ammo packages + UAVs. With hardline, it's so easy to get it.

I was always under the impression that kill streaks you get from care packages/air drops didn't count towards your kill streak

Lchoy I thought that too ... but I figured if you killed 25 in a row with your killstreak bonuses it still let you use the nuke... at least that was my understanding.. The way i got the Emergency crate is i ran into the underground and shot the noob tube at 1 guy .. apparently his buddies were all right behind him cause i killed 5 guys with the shot lol ...

The tough part is being able to pick them all up .... I dont think on a map like high rise or something small that you would be able to get them all.... I cant stand waiting for a crate and then getting killed trying to retrieve it , and then having the other team get the crate...
