I've heard from friends that homosexuality is more of an emotional thing and less of a sexual thing. For you is it more of a sexual thing or emotional thing or both?
|
It's emotional for me...I think it's very sexual tho for lots of guys tho. I mean alot more things are allowed to slide in the gay community,a s there aren't as many taboos. It's emotional for me because I came to the conclusion a bit ago that I want a guy to spend my life with and that I don't want to go from guy to guy. It's not that I don't like sex, I really like it actually, but it's taken a back seat to having a guy to have that emotional bond with. My bf is wonderful in that sense, he lives at home, I live at home and in the last few weeks we've noticed we are quite on the same wavelength and we've become super uber close emotionally. I'm at the point right now that I really hope this one works for a long time as I've never been this happy, but I'm not trying to push things or put the cart before the horse. It'd jsut be really nice if this one worked out...for once.

One of my bestest buddies came out a couple years ago. Problem is though that he didn't come out at all. No party, no teary confession, no drama, no nothing. Just one day it's "Darryl's got a boyfriend" and there was very little to no fanfare.
I woulda liked a party or something. I think with this kind of big announcement there should be an open bar at the very least but he didn't even rent a hall or get dressed-up. Effing anticlimactic, the whole thing. I'm still bitter.
So my question is, should I feel cheated? Because I do.
|
I didn't have a party...I know some guys that did...I'm too shy and reserved to have that. basically i told my freinds one by one when i thought it was a good time. Many friends also found out when I had a bf, and it was like "oh, cool" my folks tho figured it out on their own and asked me so i confirmed it for em.
Yah, he should have had a party, but maybe he was waiting for someone to throw it for him, i mean it's sorta like a birthday...who throws their own b-day party? hehe

One more, What is with 1/2 the people in acting in plays are gay, I have 3 cousins (twins and older brother) and oddly enough one of the twins is gay, and the older brother is gay, as for why all three of them decided to become actors is what shocks me?
|
I think it's artistic, it just goes hand in hand with being gay for some odd reason.

Gay marriages: Are there bulk discounts for tuxedo rentals seeing as there's twice as many groomsmen?

Dunno, haven't been to one...but there should be if there is any justice.

Have you ever been very offended with a question or a comment from somebody else in regards to you having a boyfriend instead of a girlfriend?
EDIT: Oh, and what does MRC stand for. I'm sure you've said but I missed it if so.

Not really in that sense...my mom always manages to offend me tho a bit :"hes too old, too young, too femmy, too unstable, too creepy" she thinks i should find myself a lawyer or a doctor :P but i like dating other students right now. Other than that the times i've gotten offended are more in defence of my guy.
MRC is Mount Royal College here in Calgary (soon to be University I hope)

In my defence, seeing as I'm not from Calgary, I don't know how I could have possibly known what MRC stood for.
For some reason "micro calgary boy" also pops into my head. :P

What's the deal with Anne Heche?
First, she's gay and dating Ellen Degeneres, then all of a sudden she's straight and getting married to a guy.
Is she totally detested in the gay community?

Who knows with her, i don't think she's detested, just ignored.
per SNL "As you can see Alex, I've slept with lots of famous people"

Hell, my first year of college i was getting laid every weekend...not proud of that as my morals have shifted now. I mean if you aren't picky any guy like me in his 20's can pretty much get some play. Gay guys ARE hornier than stright guys...no doubt about that stereotype. Now i get laid alot too, but that's just with my bf.
