I can't remember; have you been to Anfield before? Where are you sitting?

Nope. Hell, the closest I've been to England itself is Poland. No clue where we're sitting yet. We apparently won't find out for a little while yet.

^^^Try and sit in The Kop if you can. It's certainly not the same as in the 'old days' when I used to stand with 20,000 other Liverpool fans. You lost all hearing from the singing. It was so fantastic. Still, even now there is just something about being a Liverpool fan and watching from the Spion Kop. You have to do it.
You'll love the experience no matter what. I've been to literally 100's of matches at Anfield in my time but I'm still a little jealous of you for being able to go before I'm going to be able to get there again. That has to tell you something.
Good for you, Nuji. From reading your posts here I would imagine you might even find it a somewhat religious experience in a way. You come across as a true Red so this must be a dream come true too.

As I said, the Calgary club put in ticket requests, and the secretary said that we won't know where we're sitting until most likely some time in April. If I had a choice, definitely the kop. The guys that went last year were in the Anfield Road end I think, but I understand that we just won't know until then.
Thanks for the good words there too. I'd consider myself a true red as someone who has nothing else to do with Liverpool. I just used to watch footy in the mornings, and made a random decision, but I'll stick by it forever. Religious?....quite possibly. Counting down the days basically. Probably booking my Anfield tour this week, as apparently, they book up really fast.

Who do you think Liverpool will buy in January? Emile Heskey? A striker is a top priority as far as I'm concerned.

Perfect day yesterday. Beat Aston Villa, at the bar with the club, and my Villa fan brother. He pays the bill for the loss, I win the 50/50 at the pub. Wicked.

Shame to see the Spurs match against you lot has been postponed. I really liked our chances to nick the points at Anfield even with Lennon out. I wonder how many years its been since Spurs did the double over Pool?

Woooo! there's a Liverpool FC thread? Very nice.
Flames + Reds = sweeeeeeet
Anyway...Babel's not going anywhere i hear. Dossena is as good as gone, and Maxi will soon be here.
The game against the Spurs will be huge...is it actually postponed?

Game is postponed. I hope Liverpool decide to pour it on and drown these impetuous upstarts.

I didn't think that this season could get much worse. I guess I was wrong. Losing to Reading at home in the FA Cup, Torres and Gerrard going off injured. Absolutely flippin' fantastic.
They're a laughing stock right now. They really need to get rid of the Yanks and, dare I say, Rafa now.

Who's up for Stars/Flames in February? Not only is it a good chance to witness a probable win, but Tom Hicks should at least hear of any non-Flames related signs that show up to that game. These rumours of the Prince of Saudi Arabia buying the team constantly get my hopes up, and it hasn't happened yet. . The Yanks promise money in the summer. I know it won't come, because they're (insert your preferred Calgarypuck prohibited term here). This...is....frustrating.
So, who'll be awake at 5:45 Saturday? I'm making an effort! Despite all this, I see a win vs. Stoke City....Rory Delap's still hurt right? In or not, I think Liverpool take that game.
