Iranian Physicist Killed In Bombing
Iranian Physicist Killed In Roadside Bombing
So at the risk of sounding ‘conspiracyish’ – this is just a bit more than fishy, IMO. Looks like another clandestine operation from the good ol’ US of A, killing all the people that they don’t like, regardless of all that ‘international law’ rubbish. This particular incident was obviously a step towards stifling Irans ability to manufacture a nuclear warhead, but still, the fact that this has become the norm for international policy is troubling – especially as someone who lives on the eastern seaboard of the US.
And most Americans wonder why everyone wants to kill us…..Well, its because the American government killed their people first (contrary to W’s assertion that it was ‘jealousy of our freedom’ – but that’s a whole different can of worms) – they just didn’t fill you in on what those tax dollars are funding.

Your making a pretty large leap of logic that the U.S. or Israel were involved, especially in a country with a fractured population.
If America wanted to reducetheir nuclear capability or Israel wanted to reduce their nuclear capability they would be a lot more obvious about it and try to kill as many people as possible involved in the project.

It may just be the first step in the process. I know I am making a bit of a leap - but honestly - would it surprise you if this was the case?
Wouldnt be the first (or thousandth) time the American government took someone out on the dl.

It would surprise me a great deal if the CIA or America was involved in this. It probably wouldn't surprise me if the Israeli's were involved, however Mossad operations are usually not as subtle.
To me this could be a lot of different things.
As much as we like to romancize what the CIA does, they're neither very good at or do a lot of wet work anymore.

Or he was blowed up by the Republican Guard (or some derivative) for "mixing" with Israelis on the synchrotron project... Seems just as likely...

Exactly.
Both the US and Israel aren't so dumb as to do this, at least, I'd hope not. How obvious is it?
Yeah, we don't want you making nuclear weapons. Oh, your nuclear scientist got blown up? Wasn't us! *shifty eyes*

You know, call me insensitive, but I don't really have a problem with someone blowing up an Iranian Nuclear Physicist.

And there is your answer, but let's blame the Crusaders or Zionists just in case...

Exactly.
Can people take off their tin foil hats now?

"Physicist Massoud Ali Mohammadi died in a bomb blast on Tuesday, Iranian media reported, describing him as a nuclear scientist and a government supporter.
But later reports suggested he was not involved in Iran's nuclear programme and had signed an opposition petition."
"
An Iranian foreign ministry spokesman said that "signs of the triangle of wickedness by the Zionist regime, America and their hired agents, are visible in the terrorist act".
Reports also described Mr Mohammadi as a nuclear physicist, but it later appeared that his field of study was quantum theory."

You know what's getting tiring? Americans creating conspiracy theories about Americans doing all the wrong in the world, while the much more likely and obvious perps somehow get sympathy.

You can't have it both ways. Iran has a reputation for being super repressive and void of any personal liberty, yet a scientist working on the biggest project the country has put together in centuries will just one day wake up and say "umm i don't want to play ball"
If Iran is so repressive, no one in their right mind, especially not a government scientist would stand up and criticize the government. Regardless what people say, noo one wants to die.

It's already been proven this guy was a critic of the government and supporter of the opposition. Nobody wants to die that way, but maybe he just got sick of it all.

If he knew anything about Iran's nuclear plans at all he signed a death warrant when he signed that petition.
With the amount of crap that Iran has been doing lately I think they need a little more than a slap on a pee-pee.

Obama is going to have an interesting next year or so. Nevermind the domestic issues he has to deal with, but Iran needs to be controlled.
Along with a bunch of other countries.
Glad I'm not President.
