Well I have been an observer of CP for a couple years now but have never felt the need to join up. I thought I should introduce myself before I just jump into conversation somewhere and thought the only appropriate place to do so would be in the "Off Topic Forum".
I am an avid Flames fan and a season ticket holder (30 years now including when they were my dads). Look forward to adding to the discussions both in the Flames Forum and here in the Off Topic.
I have zero knowledge of sig creating nor any good ideas for my avitar. Any suggestions for either of these would be openly welcomed.

The first 2010 registered user I have seen.. it looks weird there.
I would go with a picture of yourself passed out or "star fished" after a heavy night of drinking.

Thanks, and yeah I knew the "star fish" would be the obvious suggestion. Unfortunately I actually hate the name Starfishy and don't want to be reminded of it in my avitar as well.
Now the obvious question would be "Why did you pick it then?" To which my only reasonable reply is: a long time ago a friend gave me this name on an online game (hyperiums) and I joined various online communities under this alias via people from that game. It has just stuck with me ever since as I have wanted those people to recognize me. Who knows, some of them might be on here too? But more so I just didn't want to waste the little creativity I have on picking a new name.

I also knew the snickers would be coming... and yes, I am aware of the sexual terminology associated with this name and it in no way has any implications as to my sexuality.
Wow, didn't think my first thread would delve as deep as my sexual preferences already.
